This policy applies specifically to CDLRecite for Android, provided by Suzhou Zhiqiao Information Technology Co., Ltd. It describes this product’s data handling; other apps and platform editions have their own policies.
1. Study progress and speech practice
CDLRecite keeps your study settings, practice and quiz progress, review results, notes, speech transcripts and unfinished mock-exam work on your device. These records let you review performance and resume a session.
The microphone is used when you start speech practice. Recognition runs on the device; CDLRecite does not save an audio recording or upload the microphone audio. Transcripts and practice results may be saved locally for review. Notification permission supports reminders and foreground-service notifications.
2. Speech model downloads
Downloading an optional speech model contacts the model’s publisher and exposes ordinary connection information such as your IP address. Recognition then processes microphone samples in memory on your device. If on-device recognition is unavailable, the app offers text self-check rather than falling back to an online speech recognizer.
3. Import, export and deletion
If you export study data or a report, the system file picker or sharing destination receives the file you choose. A destination can be local storage or a cloud provider selected by you. Local deletion cannot remove a file already saved to that destination.
Use the app’s privacy and data controls to clear stored transcripts and study data. The current app does not use Android automatic app-data backup. It does not create a developer-managed cloud account for your study records.
4. Current service configuration
Firebase analytics is not active in the edition covered by this policy. Ads currently use Google’s test advertising identifiers while the product’s production ad account is unconfigured. Ad requests can still send connection information, identifiers, interactions and diagnostics to Google for delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Android’s advertising settings let you manage the advertising identifier.
Paid purchases are not active in this edition while the product catalog is unconfigured. We do not receive payment-card details or create a cloud copy of your speech transcripts. Google handles information used by its advertising service under the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Your choices, security and privacy rights
You can manage device permissions in system settings and choose which optional connections or exports to use. A denied permission may make its related feature unavailable. Data sent to service providers may be processed outside your country. We use reasonable safeguards for information we control; no storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
We do not sell your personal information. We disclose information as needed to provide the features above, follow your instructions, comply with law, protect rights or handle a business transfer with appropriate safeguards. Information we control is kept only for the purposes described here and applicable legal obligations. Provider-controlled records follow that provider’s retention and deletion processes.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your personal information. Contact us for requests about data we control. We cannot directly remove files in your personal cloud account or copies held by a recipient.
6. Children and policy updates
This product is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can address it. We may update this policy as the product changes and will show the revised date on this page.
